Drop in Playgroups 

 

We run 3 drop in playgroup sessions locally.

 

About our sessions:

All of our playgroup sessions offer a warm and friendly place to meet other local parents and carers over a cuppa.

 

 

At our ETNA and St Margarets settings, we have a craft table inside for budding creatives and playdough table for all your rolling, squishing and shape making needs. Our baby area provides a range of sensory toys and bouncy chairs for our smallest visitors and we also have a range of construction toys, dressing up and small world play. We love playing outside too so there is space for running and riding as well as a mud kitchen to whip up mud pies or petal soup. And if this wasn’t enough we have Marc the Guitar Man at the end of every session with a fantastic sing-a-long (not Pipsqueaks.)

 

As a community group, we expect that everyone helps at set up and tidy up time-this also helps us to keep our costs down and means we can pass this saving on to you!

At our outdoor drop in nature play group in Marble Hill Park we utilise our beautiful surroundings for play. A portable mud kitchen, den building, mini beast hunting, stories and crafts will make for a great session rain or shine!

 

• Drop in fee £5 per family per session (all refreshments included)

or

• Play Pass- pre-paid pass 10 sessions for £35. Valid for use at all of our playgroups for 6 months from the date of purchase. Either buy online and pick up at group or buy one at any of our groups – please note that the price will increase to £40 from April 1st, 2017

We welcome older siblings at all of our sessions particularly in the holidays and love to meet visiting grandparents aunties and uncles at no extra charge!

 

The groups………

• The St Margarets Playgroup meets every Wednesday 9.30-11.30am (130 St. Margarets Rd, Twickenham,  TW1 1RL Opposite St Margarets Tesco’s) 

Play notes: Huge hall and garden to play in. Vibrant and very busy!! Great for everyone who loves a bit of hustle and bustle and especially bigger children who have the space to play both inside and outside.

 

• The ETNA Playgroup meets on Mondays 1.30-3.15pm (ETNA Community Centre

13 Rosslyn Road, Twickenham, TW1 2AR)

Play notes: Smaller and quieter group based in a very grand community centre. Great group for everyone who prefers a smaller group to socialise and play in and especially great for babies and newly walking toddlers.

• Pipsqueaks in the Park meets every Tuesday 9.30-11.30am (Marble Hill Park, Richmond Rd, Twickenham, TW1 2NL) Meet at the car park in Marble Hill Park – don’t worry if you are late just look out for our sign by the pay and display machine outlining which route we have taken so you can catch us up (or check our Facebook page!) We will go for a welly walk for the first part of the session then stop for a hot drink and a biscuit before we have a play!

Play notes: Unlimited space for all ages in all weathers (we have a small shelter that we can put up if rain is forecast.) Great for lovers of the outdoors and those wanting a great big dose of ‘Vitamin N’ (that’s nature to you and me!) Marc does not sing at this session.
